The A6 Spiking / Cable Cutter was designed to spike/cut damaged underground cable up to 2 3/4" diameter. It is used as a remote spiking/cutting toll that is installed on damaged underground cable using a hot stick to remotely actuate the cutter outside the flash zone.
This tool was designed for Southern California Edison (SCE) to meet their underground spiking needs. The A6 cutter will spike and cut underground cable remotely and safely from 35' away via a line attached to the trigger mechanism.
